Terms of Service

By accessing and using Mesrai's AI-powered Pull Request review service, you agree to these Terms of Service:

• These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Mesrai.
• If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
• By connecting your GitHub account and using our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
• If you are using Mesrai on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Mesrai provides AI-powered code review services for GitHub pull requests:

• Automated PR Analysis: We analyze your pull requests using AI to identify bugs, suggest improvements, detect potential security issues, and provide code quality feedback.
• GitHub Integration: Our service integrates with GitHub via OAuth to access your repositories and post review comments.
• AI-Powered Reviews: We use third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) to analyze your code and generate review comments.
• Early Stage Service: As an early-stage startup, our service is continuously evolving. Features may change, and we may experience occasional downtime or bugs.

Important: Mesrai is in active development. While we strive for accuracy, our AI review should be used as suggestions and guidance, not as a replacement for human code review.

When using Mesrai, you agree to the following responsibilities:

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and GitHub access tokens.
• Code Ownership: You represent that you have the right to submit the code you provide to our service for analysis.
• Appropriate Use: You will use our service only for legitimate code review purposes, not for malicious activities.
• Compliance: You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our service.
• Respect Limitations: You will not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or overload our service.
• Accurate Information: You will provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account.

You may NOT use Mesrai to:

• Analyze code that you do not have permission to access or modify.
• Submit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content to our service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use our service to violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying AI models or algorithms.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute our service without written permission.
• Use automated tools to overload or abuse our service (rate limits apply).
• Submit code that violates intellectual property rights of others.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

Subscription and payment terms:

• Subscription Plans: We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
• Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your chosen plan.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Due to our early-stage nature and the resource costs of AI analysis, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our pricing. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price changes take effect.

As an early-stage service, please be aware of the following limitations:

• No Warranty: Mesrai is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• AI Limitations: AI-generated reviews may contain errors, miss issues, or provide incorrect suggestions. Always use human judgment.
• No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that our service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
• Early Stage: As a bootstrapped startup, we may experience downtime, bugs, or service interruptions.
• No SLA: We do not currently offer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or uptime guarantees.
• Beta Features: Some features may be in beta and may not work as expected.
• Security: While we implement security best practices, we do not have enterprise certifications like SOC2 yet.

We are committed to improving our service continuously, but please understand our limitations as an early-stage company.

Important legal limitations:

• Mesrai and its founders/employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
• This includes but is not limited to: loss of profits, data, or business opportunities; code issues caused by following AI suggestions; security vulnerabilities missed by our analysis.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• You use our service at your own risk. We are not responsible for damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated code reviews.
• We are not liable for issues arising from third-party services (GitHub, AI providers, etc.) that we integrate with.

These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

How accounts can be terminated:

• By You: You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
• By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abuse, or for any other reason at our discretion.
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and we will delete your data according to our privacy policy.
• No Refunds: Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

• We may update these Terms of Service as our service evolves. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date.
• For significant changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our website.
• Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
• If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using our service and cancel your account.

• Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.
• Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mesrai regarding the service.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
